The Role
Polygon is seeking Customer Service Field Representatives to support a significant increase in home completions over the next two years.
This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for delivering after-market service to homeowners and strata corporations. You will be in the field daily inspecting homes, completing service work, and coordinating trades while representing Polygon directly to our customers.
This is a 1-year contract position with strong potential for longer-term opportunity based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and complete service work orders in occupied homes to a high standard of workmanship
- Investigate deficiencies, determine appropriate solutions, and follow through to completion
- Coordinate and oversee trades to ensure timely and effective repairs
- Conduct home orientations and inspections as required
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, property managers, and internal teams
- Ensure all work complies with warranty requirements, performance guidelines, and applicable codes
- Maintain tools, materials, and assigned equipment in good working order
- Support general upkeep and presentation of inventory homes and common areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential construction (carpentry or related trade preferred)
- Solid understanding of building systems, common deficiencies, and repair methods
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple service requests
- Professional, calm, and solution-oriented when interacting with homeowners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Direct residential warranty experience is an asset
- Familiarity with Home Warranty requirements, BC Building Code, and residential performance guidelines is an asset
Vehicles & Tools
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
- Candidates are expected to supply and maintain basic carpenter tools
Compensation
Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000, based on experience, plus benefits.
