Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the project team from conception through to the final sale working closely with Construction, Interior Design, Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Direct and oversee the project development objectives, manage schedules, budgets, project deliverables, and project reporting.
  • Expedite projects through the development and building approval processes and through all aspects of regulatory authorizations for a mix of multi-family residential developments in the Fraser Valley.
  • Represent Polygon to the various communities and municipalities that we work and build in.
  • Liaise and communicate openly about all issues of assigned projects with all required members of the project team.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • A passion for multi-residential design and home building and a thorough understanding of the multi-family development processes and industry regulations throughout the Lower Mainland.
  • A university degree and related professional experience in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience managing multiple projects through design, approvals, and construction phases.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams through all design and construction phases, facilitate coordination, identify issues and facilitate problem solving.
  • Familiarity with consultant drawing standards, ability to review and comment on drawing submissions.
  • Experienced with the Municipal approval and permitting process
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent and respectful communicator with a track record of developing and maintaining good relationships with consultant teams, municipal staff and City Councils.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam and Sketchup an asset.

 

Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per annum (plus bonus and benefits).

The compensation range may vary based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
