About the Role
Polygon is looking for a full-time Quality Supervisor to join our construction team in Squamish. Reporting to the Site Superintendent for daily site operations and administratively to the Construction Manager, the Quality Supervisor supports the successful completion of the project, with a particular focus on quality, deficiency management and turnover.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Site Superintendent with the coordination and management of day-to-day construction activities
  • Managing the deficiency-free turnover process and ensuring work meets Polygon’s quality standards
  • Reviewing project plans, specifications, contracts and Polygon’s construction standards to support trade coordination and the completion of work
  • Attending site meetings and communicating quality expectations, project requirements and completion dates to subtrades and suppliers
  • Monitoring and reporting on subtrade quality, schedule performance and site cleanliness
  • Coordinating the completion and turnover of work between subtrades to maintain project momentum and meet critical dates
  • Preparing and distributing trade deficiency lists, monitoring completion and escalating issues that could affect quality or schedule
  • Assisting the Site Superintendent in obtaining municipal inspection clearances
  • Documenting material deliveries, equipment rentals and completed returns as required
  • Supporting compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, site safety requirements and Polygon policies
  • Working collaboratively with Construction, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales teams
  • Supporting final occupancy and project turnover by ensuring required documents are complete and organized
  • Identifying opportunities to improve construction methods, quality and project delivery
  • Additional site-management duties as required
Requirements
  • Experience in residential construction, quality control, deficiency management or site supervision
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and building practices
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate subtrades and maintain high standards for quality, schedule and site organization
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify, document and follow through on deficiencies
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
  • Working knowledge of municipal inspection requirements and WorkSafeBC regulations
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and construction documentation systems
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation

Salary range: $85,000 to $105,000
